Yesterday

Yesterday were the Emmys and I went to see the stars arrive. But it sucked because the cops wouldn't let us get as close as they did before. We were just close enough to barely make out the faces of everyone so we didn't see nearly as many celebrities as last year. Very disappointing list... Randy Jackson, The mom from Gilmore Girls, possibly Sharon Stone, possibly Oprah (although she was very skinny), The Black Eyed Peas, Eva B from Desperate Housewives, Donald Trump. But last night was fun. We had a belated birthday party for Ashley and went to a Korean restaurant and then to the Kareoke bar named Ding Dong Dang. Highlight of the evening = Singing the Like A Prayer duet and pretending to give the microphone a blowjob. Apparently that's what the song is really about, oral sex. Don't know about that one. Classes are starting to get on my nerves, especially the ones that expect you to read all this stuff that barely has to do with the curriculum. Like reading The Tempest for a Latin American Literature class...that's when you say "Fuck that. I read that sophomore year of high school." Plus, last time I checked Shakespeare is not Latino. And I really don't care if the text can be interpreted as commentary on Latin American colonization. Sorry, guess I've got some rage stored up.
